• Tenders are invited for Construction of Drinking Water Network, Transmission and Pumping Lines and the Engineering Structures Construction of drinking water network, transmission and pumping lines and the engineering structures (valve room, flow measurement room, pressure breaker valve room, evacuation, suction cup, fire hydrant, etc.) and equipment consisting of pipes of various diameters and types, • Making house connections, • Construction of new reservoirs , (the ones whose expropriation process continues among the reservoirs to be constructed are defined as the Conditional Part(B) below, and the reservoirs that to be expropriated within the contract period will be added to the scope of the Firm Part of the Contract with proposed bid prices. List of reservoirs to be constructed (including mechanical-electrical - civil works) within scope of FIRM PART (A) is as follows: NO RESERVOIR RESERVOIR VOLUME (m3) 1 DY1 K3 1500 m3 2 DY2-K5 500 m3 3 DY3-K-2 5000 m3 4 DY3-K7 700 m3 5 DY4-K-4 1000 m3. 6 DY4 -K-9 1000 m3 7 DY5-K6 1000 m3 8 DY7 K-3B 3000 m3 9 DY8 K-4B 2000 m3 10 DY9 K-5B 300 m3 11 DY11 K-3A 500 m3 List of reservoirs to be constructed (including mechanical-electrical - civil works) within scope of CONDITIONAL PART (B) is as follows: NO RESERVOIR RESERVOIR VOLUME (m3) 1 DY1 K-1 20 000 m3 2 DY2-K-1A 15000 m3 3 DY10 K-2A 2000 m3 • Existing water tank electricity, equipment and piping revisions and structural improvement works arising from them, • Installation of chlorination building and equipment, • Installation of new pumping stations and equipment, • Necessary equipment and piping revisions for existing pump station capacity changes and structural improvements arising from these, • Obtaining/renewing energy permits for all facilities that are within the scope of the work and that will be needed, making electrical works (power, lighting, communication, etc.) ready for operation, • Making the SCADA Automation system ready for operation, covering all existing and new facilities within the scope of the work, • Constructing/restoring the dismantled/deteriorated road pavements (except asphalting), pavements and green areas within the scope of the aforementioned works, • Carrying out all kinds of calculations, designs, tests and analyzes that may be required for the construction of the work. Definitions and descriptions of Jobs and Transactions are specified in the Contract Attachments, Specifications, Design Files, Material Lists and Unit Price Definitions. Quantities based on production are specified in the Bill of Quantities. The Contractor shall consider the quantities in the Bill of Quantities. In line with the information given in all documents, it is essential that all facilities within the scope of the work are fully and completely constructed and ready for operation. 3. Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the AFD-s “Procurement Guidelines for AFD-Financed Contracts in Foreign Countries” October 2019 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Mersin Water and Wastewater Authority, Mr. Başar KURT (basarkurt@meski.gov.tr) and inspect the bidding document during office hours 09:00 to 17:00 hours at the address given below. 4. The bidding document in Turkish may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of 1.000 TL. The bidding document will be sent via courier, hand delivery or by e-mail. 5. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 14:00 and 01/11/2022. Electronic Bidding will will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders- designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on 14:30 and 01/11/2022. 6. All Bids must be accompanied by a “Bid Security” of 800.000 EUR or equivalent(1)
